Camect Alerts Demo

Welcome!

In this group you see email alerts generated by the object detection AI in a Camect Home Smart Network Video Recorder.  Camect works with many brands of camera and makes them into smart continuously-recording security systems.

We hooked up Camect to some public live streams on youtube, and configured it to send email alerts here. We have no connection to the owners of these cameras,  and no control of what the cameras are seeing. You can see the cameras on Youtube:  Live Camera Axis Q3708-PVE and  The Pete Dye Course at French Lick

The first camera shows what you might see in a typical suburban home security scenario. The second is a golf course on which you can see human and vehicular activity being detected.

What is working well?

1. There are plenty of examples of people, cars and trucks being detected correctly.

2. The statue of a human on the golf course does not trigger person alerts, because Camect looks for moving objects.

3. There's plenty of moving foliage outside the cottage, and it does not trigger any false alerts.

4. Light changes are occurring as the day progresses and are not triggering any false alerts.

Caveats:

1. Camect has not been trained to recognize golf carts, so they're classfied as either "car" or "truck" depending on the scene.

2. The images in this group appear at a smaller size on the web UI than they'll be if you receive alerts in email,or if you subscribe to this group by email.
