You cannot bank time. There is no scenario where “Surprise! You get 32 hours today” because you only used 16 hours yesterday. Time is the only asset we share equally on a global scale. What we do with it makes it our most valuable resource. Wasting time by choice, (think hot summer day, cold beer, live music…) is a luxury. But when our limited, precious time is robbed it can feel criminal.
For those on the receiving end of security alarm alerts you are no stranger to time robbery. Think of all the time lost reacting to all the absolutely pointless security alerts that get triggered by bugs or rain. So irritating.
